Sealable and Durable: Mushroom substrate bags are made of polypropylene plastic designed to withstand high temperatures. The plastic is durable and clear enough to make monitoring growth easy. Can be sealed with an impulse sealer, or can just be tied if desired.

Reliable and Efficient: Mushroom grow bags produce a side-gusseted style that gives a sturdy stand-up bag after filling and a strong bottom seal, effectively protecting your mushrooms or other plants.

Breathable Micron Filter: mushroom grow bags with a 0.2-micron filter allow free exchange of gas while preventing the entry of pollutants. These bags dramatically reduce the space needed to grow or spawn mushrooms when compared to trays and tubs.

Wide Application: Multi-use for inoculation of compost to wood-loving mushroom species. They can also be used as spawn bags, substrate bags, or all-in-one bags. Great for school projects, hobbies, and even professional mushroom growers, farmers, and mushroom cultivation.

*Note: Our bags come in three sizes. Larger bags may vary in size 1/2 to 1/4 an inch.
While these bags can be sealed before sterilization with most spawns and substrates,
some spawns and substrates may release excess steam when sealed, thereby
causing the bag to rupture. For this reason, we recommend that bags be sealed
AFTER sterilizing the contents.
